One of the first 10 graduates of the program

Reston, Va. February 14, 2013 – ThunderCat Technology announced today its graduation from the GSA Mentor-Protégé Program. The program was created in September 2009 to focus on small business growth and development, encouraging subcontractor partnering relationships. ThunderCat started the program in February 2010 with longtime partner Knight Point Systems as the company’s formal mentor. The company is one of the first 10 graduates of the program.

“It has been a pleasure to mentor ThunderCat Technology as part of the GSA Mentor-Protégé program. We have enjoyed watching the organization mature and are proud of their commitment to also serve our nation’s Wounded Warriors,” Bob Eisiminger, CEO, Knight Point Systems commented.

The GSA Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to encourage and motivate GSA prime contractors to assist small businesses and enhance their capability of performing successfully on GSA contracts and subcontracts. The goal is to increase the overall number of small businesses receiving GSA prime contract and subcontract awards, resulting from mentorship and refined business practices.

“The ThunderCat team wants to thank not just the Knight Point Systems leadership team, but also everyone there who has worked diligently with us and patiently taught us how to develop and grow over the past three years. It was nice to have experts there to ‘show us the ropes’ and guide us to success. We will be forever grateful,” said ThunderCat CEO, Tom Deierlein.
