Lance Lerman

General Counsel, Chief Compliance, and Ethics Officer

Lance Lerman has been a practicing lawyer for over 30 years. He currently is the General Counsel, Chief Compliance, and Ethics Officer for ThunderCat Technology, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business based in Reston, VA. ThunderCat is a leading solution partner to the U.S. Government, educational institutions, and commercial companies. Lance oversees all legal, compliance, ethics, and contracting for ThunderCat. Lance has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Syracuse University and his JD from George Washington University Law School. Prior to ThunderCat, he has worked as counsel to companies in the information technology and services industry, and has extensive experience in all aspects of Federal, public sector, and commercial contract formation, administration, and disputes resolution. Prior to his career supporting companies in the information technology and services industry Lance worked as a Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch, as well as a Law Clerk for the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. He is also currently an Editor for the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Journal. Lance is married to his wife, Pamela, and has two children, Noah, and Lily.
