Knight Point Systems to Mentor ThunderCat Technology as part of GSA’s Mentor-Protégé Program
Reston, Va. April 15, 2010 – Knight Point Systems announced that it has entered into a formal Mentor-Protégé relationship with ThunderCat Technology. The two companies have a history of working together and are now making the relationship more focused on specific goals and objectives.
Robert Eisiminger, Knight Point Systems CEO said his team is looking forward to being a formal mentor; “We are particularly proud and excited, because this is one of the very first times that one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) has actually mentored another.” Thomas Deierlein, the ThunderCat Technology CEO is anxious to improve performance; “The goal here is to for us to grow and benefit from Knight Point’s successes and lessons learned.”
The GSA’s Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to encourage and motivate prime contractors to assist small businesses and enhance their capability of performing successfully on GSA contracts and subcontracts. The program is intended to foster the establishment of long-term relationships between small businesses and GSA prime contractors and increase the overall number of small businesses that receive GSA prime contract and subcontract awards.
